IMAGINED ENEMY

Our enemy is alien,

A huge monstrosity;

Conspicuous complexity

Of non-mammalian

Mechanical audacity.

And we the soft protagonists,

With nothing more than skin,

And flowing blood within,

Contrive these hard antagonists,

Then cockily crow, "We win!"
